People type spelling bee 100 free when they want a hive they can play without a Games subscription — or when they want unlimited letter sets, not one official puzzle. Those are two products. This page separates them. We will not print today’s answers.

What “100% free” usually means
The query is almost never “is the dictionary free.” It is “can I keep playing.” NYT’s design is one hive per calendar day (Eastern). That is a complete game. It is not an infinite generator. When a clone advertises 100% free unlimited Spelling Bee, it is selling extra letter sets on its own word list — not unlocking NYT’s archive for you.
We will not screenshot NYT’s paywall or claim we know which button is free on your account this week. Feature names and Games packaging change. Check their site. Our job is the split: official daily versus practice clones.
The official daily (NYT)
- One puzzle a day on NYT Games — seven letters, one required center, their word list.
- Ranks (Good, Great, Genius, Queen Bee) are theirs. Our genius calculator is unofficial math on the same scoring idea.

- Archives and extra Games perks may sit behind a subscription. We cannot flip that switch.

Unlimited clones (the other “100 free”)

On this site, unlimited practice looks like:
- The solver with letters you type — a hive you invented, not today’s NYT list by default.
- The archive of past unofficial tallies, when you want a finished day rather than a live spoiler.
- Pangram tools on their own URLs, used on purpose — not as a silent dump of this morning’s hive.

A simple comparison
- NYT daily: official, one hive, their dictionary, their ranks.
- Unlimited clone: unofficial, as many letter sets as the site will generate, different word list.
- Our hints: unofficial two-letter grid for the current hive, same for every visitor.
- Our answers homepage: a reveal. Open it last.
Genius on a clone is not Genius on NYT. Queen Bee on a random letter set is a party trick. If the streak you care about is the Times streak, play the Times board.
What we will not do on this URL
We will not publish today’s word list here. We will not claim to be a 100% free NYT login bypass. We will not rank clones as “better than the Times.” The official game is the official game. Free unlimited practice is a gym. Use the gym when you have finished — or when you never intended to play the daily.
Unofficial, on purpose
If you wanted NYT’s hive, open NYT Games. If you wanted unlimited custom letters, use the solver. Mixing those brands is how people install the wrong extension and then blame the puzzle.
